Full Bio
Following a business degree and a marketing diploma from the University of Surrey, Simon Popple went on to do an MBA at Birmingham University where he was the first MBA student to be offered an internship in the USA.
After several years in the Corporate Finance department at Singer & Friedlander, he was head-hunted to join the Senior Banker team at ABN Amro, where he later became a founding member of their Financial Sponsors team within the Corporate Finance department. From there he went on to become Head of Investment Management at Strutt and Parker Financial Services and then a director at Topland, one of the world’s largest private property companies.
He set up Brookville Capital in 2008 to both invest professionally as well as raise capital. He’s written newsletters for Moneyweek (Metals & Miners) and Agora Financial (Gold Speculator).
