Daily Silver News: April 15 – Silver Price: Uncertainty Following Recent Advances
Silver is trading above $32 as markets await data, tariff news.
The silver futures contract gained 0.81% on Monday, April 14, as it slightly extended its recent advances, reaching above the $32 level. Silver kept advancing on a record-breaking in gold prices, retracing its early April sell-off. Last Monday, it rebounded from a new local low of $27.55. On March 28, silver reached the highest since 2012, however, remaining relatively weaker than gold.
Today, silver is higher again, as we can see on the daily chart (the chart includes today’s intraday data):
The silver price is 0.4% higher, as it is trading along the $32.30 level. What about the other precious metals? Gold is 0.4% higher, platinum is 1.3% higher and palladium is 0.1% lower. So, the main precious metals’ prices are higher this morning.
Today, we will get the Empire State Manufacturing Index release at 8:30 a.m., among others.
